Kundalini Yoga and Mantra

ree

Mantras are sacred sounds, phrases, or syllables that are chanted or spoken with intention. They hold specific meanings and vibrations, we often use them at the beginning of our practice, and sometimes during our sessions.

The primary purpose of mantras is to focus the mind, channel energy, and connect with spiritual or divine forces. They serve as tools for awakening and self-realization, and consciousness.

While mantras produce sound (Ahata Nad), they can evoke an experience of Nad, as they resonate with the deeper vibration of the universe when chanted sincerely and mindfully.

Nad refers to the divine sound or primordial sound in yogic philosophy and practice. It is considered the essential vibration that encompasses the universe and all creation.
